Milan, July 28 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking to the press in Scotland alongside UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, said: "We need to address the humanitarian needs in what was once called the Gaza Strip." "We will create food centers, and we’ll do it in cooperation with very capable people, and we will provide the necessary funds," Trump announced, noting that the U.S. has taken in "trillions of dollars," presumably referring to tariffs paid by American companies on foreign imports, and that "we’ll spend some money to buy food." "Other nations are joining us. I know your nation is joining us too," he said to Starmer. "All European nations have joined us, and others have called us wanting to help." Trump explained that the goal is for "people to enter freely," without "borders," adding: "There will be no fences." "They see the food, it’s all there, but there are fences—no one can get to it. It’s crazy what’s happening there," he concluded.
