Milan, 26 July (LaPresse) – The United States has announced sanctions against the Cartel de los Soles (“Cartel of the Suns”), defining it as a terrorist organisation, linking the group directly to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and other high-ranking members of his government, and accusing it of providing “material support to foreign terrorist organisations that threaten the peace and security of the United States, in particular the Tren de Aragua and the Sinaloa Cartel”..
