Turin, July 24 (LaPresse) – "We have decided to withdraw our delegation from Doha for the talks following Hamas’ latest response," stated U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff on X. Hamas’ latest reply "clearly shows a lack of willingness to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. Although mediators have made great efforts, Hamas does not appear to be coordinated or acting in good faith," he added. "We will now consider alternative options to bring the hostages home and to create a more stable environment for the people of Gaza," he explained. "It’s unfortunate that Hamas has acted so selfishly. We are determined to end this conflict and achieve lasting peace in Gaza," he added.
