Milan, 23 July (LaPresse) – Russia has lost approximately 1,045,220 soldiers in Ukraine since the start of its large-scale invasion on 24 February 2022. This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, as reported by the Kyiv Independent. The figure includes 970 casualties suffered by Russian forces yesterday alone. According to the Kiev report, Moscow has also lost 11,041 tanks, 23,037 armoured combat vehicles, 56,041 vehicles and fuel tanks, 30,722 artillery systems, 1,446 multiple rocket launchers, 1,199 air defence systems, 421 aircraft, 340 helicopters, 47,552 drones, 28 ships and boats, and one submarine.
