Dhaka (Bangladesh), 22 July (LaPresse/AP) – The death toll from the crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training jet on a school campus in Dhaka has risen to 27. The pilot and 26 people, mostly students, lost their lives. The accident caused a fire that left the two-storey building in Dhaka in flames. Authorities said 171 people, mostly students and many with burns, were rescued and taken away from the scene by helicopters, ambulances, motorised rickshaws and in the arms of firefighters and parents.
