Dhaka (Bangladesh), 21 July (LaPresse/AP) – A Bangladesh Air Force training plane crashed into a school campus in northern Dhaka, killing at least one person and injuring several others. The plane crashed into the campus of Milestone School and College in the Uttara district of Dhaka, where children were present. Television images showed flames and smoke rising from the crash site. Jamuna TV reported that at least 13 people, including some students, were injured. Firefighters and army rescue workers arrived at the scene. The Bangladesh Army's public relations office confirmed in a brief statement that the crashed F-7 BGI aircraft belonged to the air force. Firefighter Lima Khanam said by telephone that at least one person had died and four others were injured.
