Milan, 19 July (LaPresse) – Los Angeles police reported that the man who drove his car into a crowd on Santa Monica Boulevard was lynched by passers-by after the accident, which left 30 people injured. He was dragged out of the vehicle and attacked, also sustaining a gunshot wound. Officers responded to a call about a deadly assault in East Hollywood, near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard, at around 2 a.m. ‘When officers arrived, they found the driver being attacked by bystanders and determined that he had suffered a gunshot wound,’ police said in a statement. NBC News reported. The suspect who opened fire on the driver of the car is currently being sought.
