Deir al-Balah (Gaza Strip), July 19 (LaPresse/AP) – The Israeli army (IDF) stated that it fired "warning shots" near Rafah after a group of suspects approached the troops and ignored warnings to keep their distance. The IDF added that it is investigating reports of casualties but emphasized that the incident occurred overnight, when the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) distribution site was closed. According to local sources, at least 30 people were reportedly killed in the area.
