Washington, July 16 (LaPresse) – The situation in Syria is “complicated,” but “we believe things are moving toward de-escalation, and we hope the situation will get back on track, helping Syria rebuild the country and reach a more stable position. In the coming hours, we hope there will be progress in putting an end to what we’ve witnessed.” These were the words of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, responding to reporters' questions in the Oval Office during a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
