Turin, 16 July (LaPresse) – Russia ‘invites everyone’ to contribute to pushing Kiev to resume direct negotiations and set a new round. This was stated to journalists by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, responding to the Tass agency on possible intervention by Moscow with its partners to obtain such cooperation. ‘We invite everyone to do so. In this case, the main role is played by the mediation efforts of the United States, President Trump and his team. Many statements have been made, many words of disappointment,’ he explained. ‘But of course we hope that in parallel with this, pressure will also be exerted on the Ukrainian side. Because, as I have already said, at the moment it seems that all words of support are interpreted by Kiev not as a sign of peace, but as a sign of war, of the continuation of war,’ he added.
