Turin, 13 July (LaPresse) – King Charles would welcome a royal reconciliation with Prince Harry, but only if the latter reduces his public attacks against the family and stops giving “endless” interviews. This is according to the Mirror, citing sources. The news comes as it emerges that senior aides to the two men held a secret peace summit, considered a “significant” step towards reuniting the estranged father and son. According to the Mail on Sunday, the talks took place at a private London club known for promoting international friendship and of which King Charles is a patron. It is unclear who initiated the summit. Internal sources say the “reconciliation process” could heal years of damaged relations within the royal family, but only if Harry stops conducting “endless rounds of interviews as his only means of communication”. The fractured relationship between Harry and William, however, seems more difficult to mend, after the former revealed in his memoir “Spare” that the two brothers came to blows after an argument about Meghan Markle.
