Iran, Putin approves nuclear deal with “zero enrichment” for Tehran

Milan, 12 July (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has told both US President Donald Trump and Iranian officials that he supports the idea of a nuclear deal in which Iran cannot enrich uranium. This was reported by Axios, citing sources close to the discussions. Axios points out that Russia has been Iran's main diplomatic supporter on the nuclear issue for years, but while Moscow publicly defends Iran's right to enrich uranium, Putin has taken a tougher stance in private after the 12-day war between Israel and Iran.
