Ukraine: Russian attack on Kharkiv, three injured

Rome, 11 July (LaPresse) – A Russian attack targeted a residential area in the centre of Kharkiv, triggering a fire and injuring three people. This was reported by Ukrinform, quoting the words of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. "The enemy struck the city centre, in a residential area. Preliminary reports indicate casualties. Details are being clarified," Terekhov wrote on social media. According to the mayor, a functioning medical facility was also hit and, based on initial information, windows were shattered. Further details were provided later by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov. β€˜At 05:35, the enemy launched an attack, presumably using Shahed-type drones, against the Saltivka district of the city. A three-storey building and a courtyard were hit. The structure was damaged and some structural elements caught fire, covering an area of about 20 square metres,’ Syniehubov wrote on Telegram.
