Milan, 10 July (LaPresse) – Last night's attack by Russia against Ukraine, and in particular the city of Kiev, is "a clear escalation of terrorism by Russia: hundreds of “shahed” every night, constant and massive attacks against Ukrainian cities. This requires us to speed up the process. Sanctions must be imposed more quickly and the pressure on Russia must be strong enough to make it really feel the consequences of its terrorism." This was written in a social media post by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. ‘Faster action is needed from our partners to invest in weapons production and technological advancement,’ he added. "Today, I will speak with partners, particularly those in the Coalition of the Willing, about additional funding for the production of interceptor drones and the supply of air defence systems to Ukraine. The objectives are absolutely clear. Such Russian attacks must be met with a tough response. And that is exactly what we will do."
