Rome, 5 July (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has described the flooding that has hit central Texas as ‘terrible’ and promised federal support for the aftermath of the disaster. ‘It's terrible. The flooding? It's shocking. We don't know how many people have died yet, but it looks like some young people have died,’ Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One as he headed to his golf club in New Jersey, according to CNN. When asked if there would be federal aid, he replied: "Oh yes, we will take care of them. We're working with the governor. We're working with the governor. It's a terrible thing." At least 24 people have died in Kerr County, Texas, after severe flooding submerged the area. Dozens are missing.
