Milan, July 3 (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived on a visit to Kibbutz Nir Oz for the first time since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. To avoid protesters gathered at the entrance to the kibbutz, Netanyahu's convoy entered through another gate, according to The Times of Israel. The newspaper reported that signs calling the prime minister “Mr. Abandonment” were visible at the site. Some shouted “shame” and denounced Netanyahu as ‘corrupt’ and “murderer” as the vehicles passed by. Nir Oz was among the kibbutzim hardest hit by the Hamas attack, with 117 of the community's approximately 400 residents kidnapped or murdered during the massacre.
