Rome, 30 June (LaPresse) – King Charles has reportedly included Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, at the centre of his funeral ceremony. This was reported by The Telegraph. The monarch is said to be adamant that, when the time comes, Harry must take his rightful place walking side by side with his brother William in the front row of the procession through the streets of central London. According to the newspaper, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also be invited to attend the wake at Westminster Hall and play a prominent role alongside senior members of the royal family during the funeral service. Arrangements have also been made for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the King's youngest grandchildren, to attend the funeral service at Westminster Abbey, as well as the funeral ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor, if they wish. Buckingham Palace aides have insisted that plans for the King's funeral have not yet been finalised and have warned against speculation. The King, who is still undergoing weekly cancer treatment, is maintaining a busy schedule and planning future engagements and events. Charles's wish would therefore be to ensure that the family is reunited for his last public act, although Harry has repeatedly stated that he will never bring his family back to the United Kingdom unless the police can guarantee his full protection.
