Rome, 28 June (LaPresse) – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with the families of hostages held in Gaza for the first time since taking office. This was announced by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum in a statement. ‘The real victory in Gaza will only be achieved when all the hostages return home,’ Rubio reportedly told representatives of the hostages' families in Washington. The families told Rubio that there was a window of opportunity to reach an agreement to free all the hostages and expressed confidence that the Trump administration would work to achieve that goal.
