Rome, 22 June (LaPresse) – ‘The United States, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has committed a serious violation of the United Nations Charter and international law by attacking Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities.’ This was written by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on X. "This morning's events are outrageous and will have lasting consequences. Every member of the United Nations should be alarmed by this extremely dangerous, illegal and criminal behaviour,‘ Araghchi added. He warned: ’In accordance with the United Nations Charter and its provisions allowing for legitimate self-defence, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interests and people."
