Milan, June 21 (LaPresse) – The number of Italian troops in Iraq and Kuwait remains unchanged, but the contingent will undergo a "restructuring due to operational needs." This was learned by LaPresse from qualified sources. The restructuring and relocation within the various bases in the area is linked to "commitments and the need for greater operational capacity." Currently, there are 1,100 Italian soldiers stationed between Erbil and the Ali Al Salem airbase.
