Rome, 21 June (LaPresse) – ‘Just as Hitler's spark set the world on fire 90 years ago, Netanyahu's Zionist ambitions have no other purpose than to drag the world into disaster.’ This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his speech at the meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation currently underway in Istanbul, according to the Turkish news agency Anadolu. ‘Our 2 million brothers and sisters living in Gaza have been struggling to survive for 21 months in miserable conditions that exceed even those of Nazi concentration camps,’ said the Turkish leader, adding that ‘the definition and description of Israel's attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and finally Iran is banditry.’ ‘Of course, it is significant that the attacks took place at a time when negotiations on Iran's nuclear programme were intensifying,’ Erdogan noted, adding that he had no doubt that ‘the Iranian people will overcome these days with the solidarity they have shown in the face of difficulties and their strong experience.’
