Tallinn (Estonia), June 21 (LaPresse) – Sergei Tikhanovsky, a key opposition figure and husband of exiled opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, has been released from prison in Belarus. His release came after the visit of a senior official from the Trump administration to Belarus, according to Tikhanovskaya's team, and just hours after Belarusian authorities announced that President Alexander Lukashenko had met with Trump’s envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, in Minsk. Tikhanovsky, a popular blogger and activist, arrived in Vilnius, Lithuania, with 13 other political prisoners.
