Turin, June 19 (LaPresse) – The IAEA has never stated that Iran is producing nuclear weapons. "We said there is no evidence of systematic, organized activity for the production of a nuclear weapon," said Rafael Grossi, Director General of the UN Atomic Agency, in an exclusive interview with Tg1.
He emphasized that the agency has verified that Tehran is enriching uranium well beyond civilian-use levels. "Iran is the only country in the world carrying out uranium enrichment to 60%, which is nearly weapons-grade and could eventually be used to manufacture a nuclear weapon."
