Iran, Tajani: ‘Israeli operation set to last days, if not weeks’

Rome, 14 June (LaPresse) – The Israeli military operation against Iran ‘appears set to last several days, if not weeks’. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, during a hearing before the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate on developments in the crisis between Israel and Iran. ‘According to Israeli intelligence,’ he added, "in less than six months, Iran could have had 10 atomic bombs and over 2,000 missiles to launch them, not only against Israel. This is an extremely alarming picture, unequivocally confirmed by the recent report of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which declared Iran in violation of its obligations on uranium enrichment."
