Rome, June 12 (LaPresse) – Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has confirmed the detention of some pro-Palestinian Italian activists in Cairo by Egyptian authorities. “An embassy official and a consular team are there to assist all Italians present and to communicate with the local authorities. We are therefore monitoring the situation minute by minute with our Embassy and Consulate,” he said on the sidelines of a Forza Italia event.
