Warsaw (Poland), June 11 (LaPresse) – The government of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has won a vote of confidence in Parliament, receiving 243 votes in favor and 210 against, with no abstentions.
After the vote, Tusk’s supporters stood up and applauded him, chanting his name.
Tusk had called for the confidence vote following the defeat of his political ally, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, in the recent presidential elections.
In his address to Parliament, the Prime Minister announced a cabinet reshuffle for July.
