Milan, June 8 (LaPresse) – The crew aboard the Madleen, the sailing vessel of the Freedom Flotilla en route to the Gaza Strip with humanitarian aid after departing from Sicily, has reported electronic interference with their onboard tracker via Instagram posts and stories.
“At 11:36 AM GMT+2, the Madleen’s tracker experienced electronic interference,” the crew wrote, “which ended after about 30 minutes.”
Further interference was later reported. The vessel is currently about 160 nautical miles from the Gaza Strip.

“They are disrupting our communications to prepare an attack! Share this information and mobilize to pressure them to stop committing a war crime!” read another post.

Since its departure, the Freedom Flotilla has been calling for media coverage out of fear of potential repercussions, especially after one of its vessels was struck by a drone off the coast of Malta a month ago while also heading to Gaza.
