Turin, June 5 (LaPresse) – Brazilian deputy Carla Zambelli, a member of former president Jair Bolsonaro’s party, told CNN Brazil that she arrived in Italy from the United States. The parliamentarian, wanted by Interpol and holding Italian citizenship, was sentenced to ten years in prison in Brazil for hacking the computer system of the National Justice Council and submitting false documents. According to Brazilian media, Zambelli’s arrival in Italy occurred before her name was added to Interpol’s list.
