Brussels, June 4 (LaPresse) – "The decision made in Washington to present Ukrainians with an irreversible path for Ukraine toward NATO remains valid today. Nothing has changed." This was said by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in a press conference ahead of the meeting of the Alliance’s defense ministers. Rutte also reminded that "it was never promised to Ukraine that potential NATO membership would be part of a peace agreement or ceasefire," but "that long-term commitment, that irreversible path remains."
