Rome, June 4 (LaPresse) – An IDF reservist was killed yesterday during firefights in northern Gaza. The army announced that the fallen soldier was Sergeant Major Alon Farkas, aged 27. Another reservist was seriously injured in the same incident. The military stated the event occurred during operations in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City. A Palestinian gunman opened fire with an assault rifle before managing to flee.
