Milan, 2 June (LaPresse) – Russia has proposed a ceasefire in certain areas of the front line for two or three days to Ukraine. This was announced to journalists by Vladimir Medinsky, advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who led the Russian negotiating team in the second round of talks with Ukraine, held today in Istanbul. ‘We have proposed a specific ceasefire for two or three days in certain areas of the front so that commanders can recover the bodies of their soldiers,’ Medinsky said, according to the Russian news agency Tass.
