Milan, June 2. (LaPresse) – The memorandum presented by Russia to Ukraine during the second round of talks held today in Istanbul offers Ukraine two options for a ceasefire. The first option provides for the start of a complete withdrawal of Kiev's forces from Russian territories, which for Moscow also include the occupied regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhahi, and Keherson. This was reported by the Russian news agency Interfax, which consulted the document. The second option, referred to as the ‘package proposal’, provides, among other things, for ‘the end of mobilization and the start of demobilization’, ‘the cessation of foreign military aid to Ukraine, including foreign provision of satellite communications and intelligence data’, as well as 'the exclusion of third-country military presence on Ukrainian territory, and the cessation of foreign specialists' participation in military operations alongside Ukraine."
