Milan, 2 giu. (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the expansion of their ground offensive in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The announcement came after the Chief of Staff of the IDF, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, ordered the military to operate in new areas of Gaza.
"Over the last day, troops have expanded ground maneuvers, eliminated terrorists, and destroyed numerous weapons caches and terrorist infrastructure, both above and below ground," the IDF reported.
Additionally, the Israeli Air Force has struck dozens of targets across Gaza, including terrorist cells, buildings used by terrorist groups, tunnels, weapons depots, and other infrastructure.
