Milan, 31 May (LaPresse) – ‘At the moment, there is no precise information on Russia's intentions in Istanbul. We don't have any, Turkey doesn't have any, the United States doesn't have any, nor do our other partners. And for now, it doesn't seem like a very serious matter.’ This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a post on Telegram, commenting on the upcoming negotiations scheduled to take place on 2 June in the Turkish city. "Yesterday we discussed this with Turkish President Erdogan. Obviously, everyone in the world wants diplomacy to work and for there to be a real ceasefire,‘ Zelensky added. ’Everyone wants Russia to stop playing with diplomacy and end the war. Everyone wants serious peace, and Russia must accept this. This must be the agenda for the meetings. We have presented our agenda. We hope that the American side will be resolute on the issue of sanctions in order to contribute to peace."
