Milan, 30 May (LaPresse) – "Mr Prime Minister, after Hamas has once again rejected the proposed agreement, there are no more excuses for anyone to continue with this mess in Gaza. We have already missed enough opportunities. It is time to intervene with all our strength to destroy and kill Hamas." This is what Israeli National Security Minister and far-right leader Itamar Ben Gvir wrote in a post on X, following news that the Palestinian group had rejected US envoy Steve Witkoff's proposal for a temporary ceasefire in the Strip.
