Turin, 29 May (LaPresse) – China calls on the United States to listen to the rational voices of the international community and all interested parties and completely abolish the wrong practice of imposing unilateral tariffs. This was stated by a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, as reported by the Global Times. Since the United States introduced unilateral tariff measures, the spokesperson said, not only have they failed to resolve any of their own problems, but they have also seriously disrupted the international economic and trade order, interfered with the production and operation of businesses and people's daily consumption, and harmed others without benefiting themselves. Furthermore, the introduction of tariffs, the spokesperson noted, has also sparked much opposition within the United States.
