Milan, 28 May (LaPresse) – ‘Just like the United States, Russia also has its own national interests, which for us and for our president are above everything else.’ This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on statements made by US President Donald Trump, who had criticised the actions of Russia and Putin. This was reported by the Tass news agency. Peskov specified that Moscow is grateful to Trump for his mediation efforts. ‘At the same time, there are a lot of nuances to discuss that cannot be sacrificed,’ he added, ‘and neither side will sacrifice them for its own national interests.’
