Frankfurt (Germany), 23 May (LaPresse) – ‘We are currently conducting investigations to verify the identities of the person arrested and the injured.’ This was stated to LaPresse by a Hamburg police spokeswoman regarding the knife attack at the city's central station. ‘We can confirm that several people have been injured and that a suspect has been arrested,’ the spokeswoman said, explaining that investigations are underway to clarify the dynamics of the events. According to reports by Bild and other German media, the suspect is a woman who allegedly attacked people on platforms 13 and 14 with a knife. At the moment, the toll is at least twelve injured, six of whom are in critical condition and three in danger of dying.
