Rome, May 20 (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has announced that the negotiation team currently in Doha will return to Israel "for consultations" after "about a week of intense contacts."
"Israel accepts the American proposal for the return of the hostages, based on the Witkoff framework. This proposal has been conveyed to Hamas through the mediators, but so far Hamas continues to maintain its position of refusal," the statement said, according to Ynet.
