Russia and Ukraine will immediately begin negotiations for a ceasefire and, above all, for the end of the war. The conditions for doing so will be negotiated between the two parties, as is possible, because they know details of a negotiation that no one else would know. The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent". Donald Trump wrote this in a post on Truth in which he specified that "negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin immediately". "I informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Finnish President Alexander Stubb about this during a phone call immediately after the one with President Putin," the tycoon explained, adding: "The Vatican, as represented by the Pope, has stated that it is very interested in hosting the negotiations. Let the process begin!"
