Deir al-Balah, Gaza Strip, May 18 (LaPresse) – The Gaza Ministry of Health has announced that the Indonesian Hospital, the main medical facility serving the northern population of the Palestinian enclave, has been forced to shut down due to escalating Israeli attacks and what has been described as a siege on the facility. The Indonesian Hospital was the last functioning public hospital in the area. Previously, the Kamal Adwan Hospital, the main hospital in northern Gaza, and the Beit Hanoun Hospital were also forced to cease operations due to Israeli strikes.
