Ukraine: Putin will not go to Turkey, Medinsky to head Russian delegation

Milan, 15 May (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided on the composition of the delegation that will represent Moscow in talks with Ukraine in Istanbul. The Kremlin announced that the delegation will be led by Vladimir Medinsky, assistant to the Russian president, and will also include Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin. Neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor his Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be present.
