Vatican City, May 15 (LaPresse) – “I stand with the Ukrainian people. The Holy See will continue to promote and create all the necessary conditions for dialogue and to accompany the Ukrainian people in this terrible moment in history.”
These were the words of Pope Leo XIV to the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Sviatoslav Shevchuk, during their meeting today, as reported by the official website of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
