Rome, 15 May (LaPresse) – Israel ‘shows no interest’ in ending the war. This was stated in an interview with CNN by the Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Al Thani said he had hoped that the release of Israeli-American soldier Edan Alexander from captivity in Gaza would represent a ‘turning point that would help bring the talks back on track.’ ‘Unfortunately, Israel's reaction was to bomb the next day,’ he added.
