Lahore (Pakistan), May 8 (LaPresse/AP) – Pakistani military spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif stated that India launched attack drones overnight against Pakistan, one of which struck a military base near Lahore, injuring four soldiers and damaging the facility. He added that 25 drones, launched across different parts of the country, were shot down by Pakistani forces. One civilian was killed and another injured when debris from a downed drone fell in the Sindh province. Another drone crashed in Rawalpindi, near the capital, he said during a televised statement.
