I join the words spoken today by US President Donald Trump, hoping that this will end quickly and will continue the engagement with the leaders of India and Pakistan to reach a peaceful solution’. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote this on X. A few hours earlier, Trump had stated that he hoped the fighting would ‘end very quickly’, calling it ‘a disgrace’.
