Washington (USA), May 5 (LaPresse) – The Department of Justice under the Trump administration has asked a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by anti-abortion organizations seeking to restrict access to the abortion pill Mifepristone. In effect, this aligns with the position previously taken by the Biden administration. The Justice Department’s request in court is surprising, given that both Donald Trump and several members of his administration had taken anti-abortion stances.
