Milan, 6 May (LaPresse) – Twenty-nine foreign leaders will attend the parade in Moscow on 9 May to mark the 80th anniversary of victory in what Russians call the Great Patriotic War, i.e. victory over Nazism in the Second World War. This was announced by Yuri Ushakov, Russian presidential adviser, quoted by Russian news agencies, specifying that the 29 countries that will be represented at the highest level are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Venezuela, Vietnam, Guinea-Bissau, Egypt, Zimbabwe, China, Congo, Cuba, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Palestine, Serbia, Slovakia, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia and South Ossetia. ‘Russia successfully hosts major international events despite the hostile attitude of several countries,’ Ushakov said.
