Milan, 6 May (LaPerse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, sitting in the Israeli Air Force command bunker at the army headquarters in Kirya, Tel Aviv, alongside Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz, issued a warning to Iran after Israel attacked Sanaa airport in Yemen today. ‘I have said many times that the blood will be on the heads of anyone who attacks Israel’ and that there would be several “strikes” in response to Sunday's Houthi missile attack on Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport. The choice and timing of the targets are intended to punish the Houthis but also to send a message to Iran, ’ without whose approval and long-term support the Houthis could not have carried out the criminal missile attack against us,’ Netanyahu said, quoted by The Times of Israel. “President Trump said it a month and a half ago” and “I repeat it today: anyone who attacks Israel will pay the price,” he concluded.
