Milan, 2 May (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has revealed that he has recently learned that there are fewer than 24 hostages alive in Gaza. ‘Out of 59, 24 were alive, and now I realise that's not even the number,’ the tycoon said during a National Day of Prayer event at the White House, according to “The Times of Israel”. For months, Israel has stated that it considers 24 of the 59 hostages to be alive, although earlier this week Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's wife, Sara, interrupted him at a public event to state that the number was lower than the official one. The prime minister had remarked that there are ‘up to 24’ hostages still alive.
